Oh, Seattle

A few weeks ago I ventured over to the Northwest and found myself in Seattle. I had no clue what to expect, but I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. The only thing I really knew about Seattle was that the Seahawks are from there and the Space Needle is located there (which by the way surprisingly took a lot longer to find/see than expected). As you can tell I really didn't have any knowledge about Seattle, I still don't have much knowledge but now I know what the city is like.

I would describe Seattle as the child of San Francisco and London. Why? Well they have similarities, but don't believe for a second that Seattle is identical to those two cities. Seattle is its own city and one that I highly recommend visiting.

One of the first things I did was attend a Seattle Sounders game and boy, was I surprised. The whole city turned into a ghost town while the game was going on. I expected there to be a good amount of people since it was at the CenturyLink stadium, but I was not expecting that many people to attend a MLS game.

The next two days involved exploring the city. I went to Pike Place Market, to the Space Needle, found an amazing sushi restaurant (Umi Sake House), and walked up and down many hills.
